Lake VinuelaLake Vinuela is situated 15 minutes inland from Torro Del mar and 45 minutes from Malaga airport. Velez Malaga is 10 minutes away which is the nearest major town. The lake is surrounded by mountains and scattered with pretty white-wash villages where tropical fruit is grown; lemon, orange,almond, olive groves and vineyards are abundant. There are two hotels local to the Lake and restaurants are plentiful. 20 minutes drive away you have the fantastic Eroski hyper- market and American style shopping mall. |

Leisure Activities and Facilities by the LakeThe immediate and surrounding areas are abundant with facilities for you to both relax and enjoy yourself whatever your interests. The lake offers a range of facilities such as swimming sailing and wind surfing plus the option to go fishing too, however no motor boats are allowed to ensure a truly relaxing time spent there. Two golf courses have been cleared for construction in the local area for anybody who wants to knock a few holes in. Horse riding and walking is pleasurable due to the beautiful views and wildlife that make the area so attractive. As you are so close to the snow capped mountains of the Sierra Nevada ski resort, come winter time the sporting activities and social life is on going. |
